About me

Overview

I am currently working towards a Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh's Swanson School of Engineering, with a concentration in Autonomous Systems and Controls.  My undergraduate degree will take exactly five years, putting my expected graduation date in August 2023.  During COVID, I took the entire 2020-2021 school year off to avoid missing out on hands-on content, such as labs, that is much more valuable when taught in person.

In my first 4 years of undergraduate, I have completed a total of 7 semesters worth of internships (including summer terms) at startups and well-known companies in the aerospace, automotive, and robotics industries.  My main interests are robotics, embedded systems (hardware, software, and firmware), controls, and industrial automation and manufacturing.

Outside of school and work, I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading, playing automation and survival video games, trying new restaurants and food, going to the gym, and working on cool side projects.

Skills

From coursework and internship experience, I am familiar with C++, C, Python, writing firmware for ARM-Cortex-M MCUs (ST, NXP), LabVIEW, MATLAB & Simulink, Linux, STM32CubeIDE, Git, and Atlassian Software (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket).

I also have extensive experience in CAD and eCAD software such as Altium Designer, Fusion 360, LTSpice, and fabrication techniques such as 3D Printing, soldering, and populating PCBs using a stencil.  At Loupe and SpaceX, I've been exposed to industrial automation technologies such as PLC and HMI programming (Siemens TIA), working with 6 axis robot arms, panel design using EPLAN Pro Panel, and using machine vision (Cognex).
